Join us for a virtual session on CBP IEEPA Duty Refund Guidance and the CAPE process. This session will be hosted by VEDP’s Supply Chain Optimization Program and facilitated by international trade expert Ryan Last of Troutman Pepper Locke, with a focus on practical implementation and real-world application. The session will begin with an overview of the current tariff and trade environment and cover ongoing litigation and recent rulings related to IEEPA tariffs, including refund considerations and potential implications for importers. A key focus will be CBP’s refund process. Attendees will learn how to access and use the CAPE system, complete required steps, and track refund claims from submission through payment, along with timelines, documentation, and setup considerations such as ACE Portal access and payment configuration.
