Caitlin Clark Maxwell serves as International Trade Manager, responsible for managing VEDP programs and services designed to support Virginia companies in growing their international sales.  

Experience

Prior to joining VEDP in December 2020, Caitlin served for six years in the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Office of International Marketing, where she worked to promote Virginia agriculture and forestry products in foreign markets and assisted Virginia agriculture and forest producers to grow export sales.

Previously Maxwell served in multiple positions in VEDP’s International Trade Division, including International Trade Manager for the Northwest Virginia region and Research Specialist for the Virginia Leaders in Export Trade program. Prior to this, Caitlin worked for the US-China Business Council in Washington, D.C., assisting and informing U.S. Fortune 500 companies on China-related trade and investment issues.
