EXPOMIN 2006 in Chile is sure to create a ground swell!
What is EXPOMIN 2006?
A bi-annual international trade fair for the World Mining Industry which focuses on mining technology, mining equipment and machinery, products, supplies, and services. There will also be conventions and multi-lateral meetings with government and corporate professionals and technical personnel.
Why go to Santiago, Chile on May 23 - 27, 2006?
The last fair was a bonanza with 40,000 visitors, 800 exhibitors, and 2,500 brands represented.
The 9th World Latin American Mining Convention has an attractive agenda with a Business Roundtable meeting of over 100 entrepreneurs from over 36 countries such as Germany, Sweden, Finland, England, and Italy as well as from Mexico, Brazil, and of course, Chile.
Chile produces 40% of the world's copper. About 70% of the mining equipment used there, amounting to $700 million, is imported from other countries. Chile has 98 mining projects registered during 2005 - 2010 estimated at $18.5 billion for various activities.
