Beyond Virginia 2009 Calendar Contest

Thank you for your interest in our new calendar, Beyond Virginia 2009. This calendar is designed to showcase the diverse range of Virginia products that are found throughout the world. By submitting an entry, you are giving your company an opportunity to be one of the companies selected to be featured on a page in our calendar. When complete, the calendar will be distributed at no charge to companies throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. The targeted distribution timeframe is set for late in the third quarter of the 2008 calendar year. 


Contest Rules:

  • There is no fee to enter this contest.
  • Applications are being accepted from January 15, 2008 to May 15th, 2008.
  • A company may submit as many pictures for entry as they like, however, only one winning picture may be selected from each company with a winning entry.
  • Winner's will be notified by May 20th, 2008.
  • By submitting a picture(s) to the Division of International Trade of the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP), a release is hereby granted for use in the Beyond Virginia 2009 calendar and other promotional events carried out by the Division of International Trade of the VEDP.
  • Only products which are manufactured in the Commonwealth of Virginia are eligible for consideration.
  • Only companies licensed within the Commonwealth of Virginia are eligible for consideration.
  • A brief description (no more than 150 words) must accompany each picture, describing: name of product, location of product in the picture submitted, date of the picture and any other relevant information you think would help us in determining our winners.
  • Picture MUST have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi, be in 8.5" x 11" horizontal format and 20 MB file size.
  • You may submit low-res image with entry; however, if selected the image used in the calendar MUST meet the above specifications.
  • The products must still be sold/located in the particular country featured.
  • By submitting any pictures for consideration, you acknowledge that you have the authorization to submit the pictures for use by us and to assign us permission to use such pictures in the Beyond Virginia 2009 Calendar.
  • You must provide valid contact information so that we may contact you in the event we have any questions.
