Stephanie Tignor

Stephanie Tignor As the Global Network manager for VEDP, Stephanie is responsible for managing all research in the International Trade division, including research provided by VEDP’s Global Network contractors around the world and research performed internally.

Prior to joining VEDP, Stephanie served as Senior Foreign Policy Analyst for the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), an agency of the U.S. Congress that investigates how the federal government spends taxpayers' dollars. At the GAO, she evaluated federal government policies and programs for efficiency and effectiveness, led major portions of research projects, wrote reports detailing recommendations, and interviewed foreign government officials and private sector executives in such countries as Cambodia and Egypt. She also served as a Budget Analyst for the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in Paris as part of her Master's program. Stephanie has a Master of Public Policy from the University of Maryland, and a B.A. in International Studies and Political Science from Virginia Tech.
